basic ABCD diagram Saju-Makgi (8 movements) no meaning. Four directional block to be carried out both clockwise and anticlockwise. The instructions below are for the anticlockwise direction.

This pattern begins with the student standing in parallel ready stance on the AB line facing in the direction of D.

  1. Move the right foot to C forming a left walking stance toward D while executing a left low block with the knife-hand to D.
  2. Move the right foot to D forming a right walking stance toward D while executing a right inner forearm middle block to D.
  3. Move the right foot to A forming a left walking stance toward B executing a left low block with the knife-hand to B.
  4. Move the right foot to B forming a right walking stance toward B while executing a right inner forearm middle block to B.
  5. Move the right foot to D forming a left walking stance toward C while executing a left low block with the knife-hand to C.
  6. Move the right foot to C forming a right walking stance toward C while executing a right inner forearm middle block to C.
  7. Move the right foot to B forming a left walking stance toward A while executing a left low block with the knife-hand to A.
  8. Move the right foot to A forming a right walking stance toward A while executing a right inner forearm middle block to A.
    END: Bring the right foot back to parallel ready stance.
