Privacy policy

Effective: 7 October 2026

Our commitment to privacy

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.

The way we use information

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

We will contact you if there are any changes to this privacy policy using the contact details you have provided, and we will promptly respond to any request we receive to permanently remove all data you have supplied to us, with the exception of any legal requirements to archive and supply national agencies with such data as is required by law in the Republic of Ireland.

We never use or share personally identifiable information provided to us in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Our commitment to data security

To prevent unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

Our commitment to children’s privacy

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, information recorded about our junior members is only accepted with documents signed by parents/guardians.

Photos of juniors on our website will only be published with written permission from parents/guardians, and in consultation with the club’s Children’s Officer.

How you can access or correct your information

You can access all your (or your children’s) personally identifiable information that we collect and maintain by making a request in writing to the Chief Instructor of the club. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information.

You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a written statement that credibly shows the error.

To protect your (and your children’s) privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
