Patterns - Four Directional Movements - Saju-Jirugi
Saju-Jirugi (7 movements)

Four directional punch to be carried out both clockwise and anticlockwise. The instructions below are for the anticlockwise direction.
This pattern begins with the student standing in parallel ready stance on the AB line facing in the direction of D.

Move the right foot to D forming a right walking stance toward D while executing a right middle punch with the fist to D.

Move the right foot to A forming a left walking stance toward B while executing a left low block with the outer forearm to B.

Move the right foot to B forming a right walking stance toward B while executing a right middle punch with the fist to B.

Move the right foot to D forming a left walking stance toward C while executing a left low block with the outer forearm to C.

Move the right foot to C forming a right walking stance toward C while executing a right middle punch with the fist to C.

Move the right foot to B forming a left walking stance toward A while executing a left low block with the outer forearm to A.

Move the right foot to A forming a right walking stance toward A while executing a right middle punch with the fistto A.

END: Bring the right foot back to parallel ready stance.
